Last Updated: July 2, 2025

BednWheels, operating under the trade name The Sun Shuttle, collectively referred to as The Sun Shuttle, is committed to respecting your privacy and maintaining the security of your personal information. This Privacy Notice describes our collection and use of personal information, including data collected on our website www.thesunshuttle.com, any current or future mobile application (collectively, the “Platform”), and through other means.

The term “personal information” refers to any data that specifically identifies you or your household, such as your first and last name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, and payment card information.

1. Information Collected by The Sun Shuttle or Its Service Providers

As described in more detail below, we may collect information directly from you, indirectly through certain collection technologies, and from certain third parties.

1.1 Information You Provide

Reservations. When you or someone on your behalf makes a reservation through the Platform or by contacting us through other means, we collect your name, telephone number, email address, pick-up and drop-off locations, payment card information, and, when applicable, travel information.

Account Registration. The Platform and related services may require registration for access. As part of the process, we ask you to provide certain personal information.

Website Contacts. You may provide personal information on the Platform in various ways, such as by entering information in relevant fields (e.g., registering for an account or making a reservation).

Contacting Us. When you communicate with us, the email address and/or telephone number you use will be collected, along with any additional information you provide so we may respond to your inquiry. Your telephone call with our customer service and/or dispatch staff may be recorded.

Payment Processing. When you make a payment through the Platform or by phone, we collect transaction information, including the date, payment details such as your credit or debit card number and related information, as well as billing and contact data.

Applicants, Contractors, and Employees. If you apply for a job, submit an application as an independent contractor, or obtain employment, you will be asked to provide your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, educational background, work history, social security number, date of birth, and driver’s license information. For certain positions, you may also be asked to answer questions about your driving record, criminal background, and drug and alcohol testing history.

1.2 Information Collection Technologies

Server Information. Like most websites, The Sun Shuttle’s servers automatically and temporarily store the following information in server log files. This data is provided by your browser unless the function is disabled:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • File request by the client
  • HTTP response code
  • Referrer URL
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system of the requesting computer

These logs are not analyzed to identify individuals. This data cannot be attributed to specific persons.

Site Visit Tracking Technologies. As is common on many websites, the Platform may use “cookies” and other technologies to help The Sun Shuttle understand which parts of the Platform are most popular and to identify user preferences. We may use these technologies to analyze traffic patterns, improve functionality and user experience, and enhance the effectiveness of our communications and marketing.

A cookie is a unique alphanumeric identifier that helps identify the number of unique visitors, repeat visits, and the sources of those visits. Cookies cannot be executed as code or used to deliver viruses, and pose no threat. Only the server that placed the cookie can read it, and no personal data can be collected by other servers. You can disable cookies via your browser’s security settings. Note that some Platform features may be unavailable if cookies are disabled.

The Platform also automatically collects and stores certain information in log files, including IP addresses, browser type, operating system, ISP, referring/exit pages, access timestamps, browsing data, and viewed content.

If you arrive at the Platform by clicking on a paid ad or link, our server will track your visit. Likewise, if you come via an unpaid source (e.g., search engine), the server may record this data where available.

Some communications from The Sun Shuttle may contain a click-through URL that routes through our servers before taking you to the destination page. This helps us measure interest and the effectiveness of our communications. If you do not wish to be tracked, avoid clicking on links in emails from The Sun Shuttle.

Flash Cookies. Some features may use these technologies to store preferences and navigation data. Flash cookies are not managed via regular browser settings.

Web Beacons or Pixel Tags. These small invisible images may be used to count visitors and gather statistics (e.g., content popularity or system integrity).

Smartphones. If you access the Platform via a smartphone, we may collect device-specific data, such as hardware model, OS version, unique identifiers, phone number, and mobile network info. We may associate this with your account.

1.3 Third-Party Information

Social Media. If you link your social media account(s) to your account with us, the social network may share usage information with us, including your profile, contacts, and content you have viewed or liked. If you post public content, we may also collect it. Please review the privacy policies of your social media accounts. We are not responsible for those platforms’ data practices.

Third-Party Analytics. We may use third-party service providers (e.g., Google Analytics) to collect and analyze usage data from the Platform. We do not receive personally identifiable information from these providers.

Background and Credit Checks. If you are an applicant, employee, or contractor, and applicable law permits, we may obtain background and credit reports from third parties to evaluate your application or verify your eligibility to work with The Sun Shuttle.

Drug Testing. For certain jobs or assignments, you may be required to undergo drug screening pre-employment, randomly, or with reasonable cause. These tests are conducted by third-party providers on our behalf.

As we cannot practically prevent access from other jurisdictions, it is your responsibility to understand and comply with your local laws. If those laws conflict with your use of the Platform, the Platform is not intended for your use, and we ask you not to access or submit data through it. We comply with all applicable U.S. laws. In the event of a conflict, U.S. laws will prevail.

8. “Do Not Track”

“Do Not Track” is a privacy setting you can enable in your web browser to request that websites not track your online activity. Currently, we do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals from web browsers.

9. Data Retention
